Audibly is an offline music player and wireless surround sound system for iOS devices. To add music, copy music files, like m4a, wav, and mp3, through the built-in file manager. Then Audibly will automatically sort through all the files and organize a new music library.

Audibly has an accurate syncing engine, making a crystal clear listening experience. There is also a sync button, which can be pressed to make the sync even more accurate.

Also, you can connect up to 8 (possibly more...) iOS devices over WiFi and use them as wireless, surround sound speakers. Audibly has a system to keep the devices music in sync. Place all the iOS devices around a large room, turn up the volume, and enjoy the music.

Features:
• File manager to transfer music files
• Create a playlist of songs from your own library
• Control the volume across all the devices
• Automatically organizes music files into a library
• Music kept in sync as you listen
• Favorite what’s playing to come back to it later
• No Internet connection required*
• Advanced customizable settings
• Equalizer and presets
• Additional Audio Effects
• Stereo Audio Channels
• Spatial Audio Device Layout
• Choose a color theme

* Music can be streamed over Peer-to-Peer Wi-Fi on newer, supported devices, anywhere you are without an Internet connection. Devices can also connect over a Wi-Fi network.

Pros and cons of Playr Audibly app for iPhone and iPad

Playr Audibly app good for

This is an amazing concept, and is so so so close to being just what I was looking for but it is off by less then a second (although does sync up after 30 seconds into each song, but it has to do this every time) and that makes it sound like I am at an out door concert with a really bad ecko. I will keep it installed and hope it gets better. One feature request I will add is if there is anyway to make it work with a BlueTooth speaker
Works perfectly but doesnt support ipad wont let me download from the app store

Some bad moments

I understand that Apple Music may not possible, but you could add the possibility to use music from SoundCloud. I use streaming only, so as of now this is not useful to me, but its a great idea and I would love to be able to utilize it.
It doesnt work. How does it work?? No one knows... Cool a video on the website! Totally useless...
Tried it multiple times. Couldnt get it to work, tried rebooting, opening closing the app, listening and broadcasting, on wifi and without. Still couldnt find my friends phone. I was using a 4S and 5S. Deleted it.
I thought this app sounded a little too good to be true. All the songs I play on this app sound the same as they do in the default music app. For some songs, this app sounds like its actually lowering the quality of the song. Not worth my time.
Music has only matched up once. After, every device was off by a second or two and other times, it just keeps saying listening.
Before I start, the fact that it uploads the song to the other device is wicked awesome work. Sadly its always off by a second and has issues pausing a song and Un-pausing a song. Sometimes only one device plays when un-pausing. Hopefully a patch will fix it But to be honest despite my sour review Im gonna use while in the shower. This was tested with an iPhone 5s and an iPad mini with retina display. The iPhone 5s was the host.
